Hi all and welcome to another exciting season with Dafen Welfare AFC.

Here you can find any information for the 2010/2011 season including our players, training arrangements,

fixtures, results and top performances.

Training- Training will be every Friday from 5pm to 6pm and after 03/09/2010 this will be increased to twice a week depending on availability of children and parents.

Training Requirements- Togs and Trainers, Shin-Pads and Water.

As of this season, our team will be playing under slightly different rules from last year. We are now asked to play 6 a-side rather than 5 a-side and we are now playing with the larger goals rather than the small oval goals we had to use for the last 2 seasons. This will give all of our boys a good opportunity to improve on playing as a team and will hopefully show a healthy competition for places in the team as last year we had 2 teams where as this year we will only have 1. Our aim this season is to see the boys progress further like they have done for the past 3 years and to develop their footballing skills and to help them do the basic skills to the best of their abilities.
