Unfortunately Dafen Girls U13's lost their first league game of the season away to Llangefelach, 2-1. The game turned out to be a bit of a farce as Llangefelach only had 6 players instead of the mandatory 9. In the true spirit of the game we played them with 6 players. This unfortunately caused us severe disruption as we had 10 players which meant bringing girls on and off every 5 minutes to give all the girls a run out. Llangefelach on the other hand were able to stick with a settled side and had more continuity in their play. Despite this Dafen should of had a draw with Lauren Morgan and Stacey Webber having many shots on target and hitting the post on a few occasions. Stacey Webber put Dafen 1-0 up in the first half but Llangefelach came back in the 2nd half scoring 2 goals to win the game. That's life and we live to fight another day.

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome a new player to the club, Franchesca Carter, who had an excellent game against Llangefelach.
