February turned out to be a bit of a damp squib as far as the weather was concerned, resulting in our matches at Pen-Yr-Heol, Bancffosfelin and Loughor being called off. We did manage to stage our first games at Dafen but unfortunately we only played Pen-Yr-Heol as Loughor and Landore failed to turn up (A phone call would have been nice).

Result : Dafen 2 Pen-Yr-Heol 0

On the last weekend of the month we played Garden Village away losing 2-4. At one stage we were losing 0-4 but managed to claw two goals back after missing a hatful of chances, which could have gained us a draw. Garden Village, as always, proving a tough team to beat. Games between these two teams more often or not are keenly contested affairs, with a good standard of football, played in the right spirit.

Let's hope the weather improves in March so the girls can get more games under their belts as we head to the tournaments in April and May.
