Franklin, Shannon Lloyd, Stacey Webber.

Dafen girls got their league campaign off to a winning start with a
well deserved win away to Landore. Dafen got off to a slow start and
were put under preaure from a vastly improved Landore side from last
season..Dafen had goalkeeper Ami Evans to thank for keeping out the
home side in the early stages with a couple of fine saves.  As the half
wore on Dafen came more into the game and took the lead through one of
their new signings from Trimsaran Danni Franklin. In the seond half
Dafen maintained their grip on the game with outstanding midfielder
Danni Franklin scoring another 2 goals to claim her hatric. Next
Sunday Dafen take on Llangyfelach at home. Dafen will have to be at
their very best if they are going to get a positive result out of this
game.
